A group of 23 patients completed a stationary rehabilitation program and were followed for six months after surgery. They were compared to 15 patients completing an outpatient rehabilitation program using different clinical scores. The results did not show any statistical significance in major perspectives. However, the performance of rehabilitation and the individual motivation of the patient seemed to be relevant for the clinical outcome.
