- Abstract:
- In der vorliegenden Doktorarbeit wurden Assoziationen zwischen neun SORL1-Genvarianten und den etablierten Liquorbiomarkern der Alzheimerpathologie bei 87 Alzheimerpatienten, 166 MCI-Patienten und 100 kognitiv gesunden Kontrollpersonen untersucht. In der Alzheimer-Gruppe hatten Träger des SORL1-SNP23-A-Allels und SNP24-T-Allels signifikant niedrigere Liquorkonzentrationen an Aβ1-42, als Nichtträger. Diese Ergebnisse sprechen für einen Einfluss von SORL1 auf die Amyloidkaskade.

- Associations between nine variants in the SORL1- gene and established csf-biomarkers of the Alzheimer´s pathology were examined in 87 Alzheimer´s patients, 166 MCI-patients and 100 cognitive healthy controls. Carrier of the SORL1-SNP23-A-allele and SNP24-T-allele had significantly lower Aβ1-42-levels in the CSF than non-carrier in the Alzheimer´s group. These results provide support for an influence of SORL1 on the amyloid cascade.
