- 233 Psychiater in München und Oberbayern wurden mithilfe eines Fragebogens über ihr Verordnungsverhalten von Medikamenten bei Patienten mit Borderline Persönlichkeitsstörung (BPS) befragt.141 antworteten. Insgesamt wurden 94% der BPS Patienten mit Psychopharmaka behandelt. Psychiater verschrieben vor allem Antidepressiva, gefolgt von Antipsychotika, Stimmungsstabilisierern und Benzodiazepinen. Die Resultate wurden im Vergleich mit den internationalen Leitlinien für BPS diskutiert.
- Translated abstract:
- 233 psychiatrists in Munich and Upper Bavaria were asked by questionnaire about their treatment habits in the medical therapy of patients suffering from Borderline personality disorder (BPD). 141 answered. In total, 94% of BPD patients were treated with psychotropic medication. Psychiatrists predominantly treated with antidepressants, followed by antipsychotics, mood stabilizers and benzodiazepines. The results are discussed in conjunction with the international guidelines for BPD.
