Abstract:: Diese Arbeit beschreibt die Entwicklung neuer Module und Techniken für bildgestützte Navigationssysteme in der minimal-invasiven Hals-, Nasen-, Ohrenchirurgie. Im Zentrum der Arbeit steht ein neues Modul, welches erstmals eine automatische und kontinuierliche Kontrolle und Optimierung der Genauigkeit während des laufenden chirurgischen Eingriffs ermöglicht. Weitere Module erlauben die Durchführung einer detaillierten präoperativen Planung und Simulation der Patientenregistrierung.
Translated abstract:: This thesis describes the development of new modules and techniques for image-guided navigation systems in minimally invasive Ear-, Nose-, and Throat surgery. The main part of the thesis is committed to a newly developed module, which for the first time enables an automatic and continuous optimization of the accuracy during an ongoing surgical intervention. Additional modules allow detailed preoperative planning and simulation of the image-to-patient registration.
