- In einer retrospektiven Studie wurden die Ergebnisse von Totalem Muttermundsverschluß, Cerclage und Kombination der beiden untersucht. Es handelt sich um 200 Eingriffe, die zwischen 1997 und 2010 an der Frauenklinik durchgeführt wurden. Bei prophylaktischer Indikation zeigte der TMV deutliche Vorteile, bei therapeutischer Indikation brachte die Kombination eine signifikante Tragzeitverlängerung. - A retrospective study examined the results of total cervical occlusion, cerclage and the combination of both. 200 interventions were carried out between 1997 and 2010 at the gynecological hospital. The total cervical occlusion showed clear advantages at a prophylactic indication, the combination brought about a significant gestation time prolongation at a therapeutical indication. Total cervical occlusion decreased significantly second trimester pregnancy loss and premature birth rate comparing... »
