Die Sonografie gilt heute bei Erstdiagnosestellung und Verlaufsbeurteilung von Morbus Crohn als ein empfohlenes und anerkanntes Verfahren, das in der klinischen Praxis standardmäßig zum Einsatz kommt. Ziel dieser Arbeit war es, die Bedeutung und Wertigkeit der Sonografie in diesem Kontext genauer zu analysieren. Im Mittelpunkt stand hierbei eine Untersuchung des Zusammenhangs sonografischer Parameter mit Laborwerten wie dem Calprotectin und dem CRP, mit endoskopischen und histologischen Befunden, sowie mit Symptomen und dem klinischen Bild von Patienten.     «

Today ultrasound is considered a recommended and approved procedure for the initial diagnosis and the follow-up of Crohn's disease, which is used in clinical practice in patients every day. The aim of this thesis was to analyze the significance and value of ultrasound in this context.
