Title:
Influence of the Vehicle Velocity on the Number of Reads in UHF RFID Scenarios
Pages contribution:

Abstract:
The reliability of Ultra High Frequency (UHF) Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)-based free flow tolling systems highly depends on the vehicle velocity since it determines the available time for identification. One quantity to determine the reliability of such a system is the number of reads. However, to be able to describe the dependence between this number and the velocity, usually the knowledge of a variety of system parameters is necessary which may not always be available in practice.
