- Abstract:
- This study focuses on the establishment of methods for the investigation of enzymatic activity of three health-related enzymes, namely intestinal alkaline phosphatase, xanthine oxidase and glutathione-S-transferase as well as for the detection of proliferation and gene expression changes of the porcine jejunal epithelial cell line IPEC-J2 in the presence of Perilla frutescens extracts.

- Die vorliegende Arbeit beleuchtet detailliert die Etablierung und Anwendung verschiedener Methoden, um die Wirkung von Perilla frutescens Extrakten auf die Aktivität der gesundheitsrelevanten Enzyme intestinale alkalische Phosphatase, Xanthinoxidase und Glutathion S-Transferase zu untersuchen. Darüber hinaus wurde der Einfluss der Extrakte auf die Zellproliferation und Genexpression einer Zelllinie des porzinen Jejunumepithels (IPEC-J2) charakterisiert.
