- Abstract:
- In gering differenzierten Adenokarzinomen des Magens konnte in nahezu 50% der Tumoren eine maximal 5%ige Subpopulation von Tumorzellen mit neuroendokriner Differenzierung nachgewiesen werden. Diese zeigte keine Korrelation zum histologischen Typ nach Lauren, Tumorlokalisation oder -stadium. Bei tendentiell schlechterer Prognose der marker-negativen Tumoren ergab sich kein signifikanter prognostischer Unterschied zwischen marker-positiven und marker-negativen Tumoren.

- Of poorly differentiated adenocarcinomas of the stomach almost 50% of the tumors had a maximum of 5% subpopulation of tumor cells with neuroendocrine differentiation. Those tumors showed no correlation to the histologic type of Lauren, localisation and stadium of the tumor. The neuroendocrine negative tumors tend to have a worse outcome but there was no significant difference in the outcome of neuroendocrine positive or negative tumors.
