- Abstract:
- Shift work can have detrimental health effects. Little is known about the effects on the metabolism. This project aims to assesses the impact of shift work on the metabolic profile of female nurses considering the individual chronotype. Based on the metabolic profile in urine samples from 100 individuals, it could be show that night shift work affected individuals with early chronotype the most. Furthermore, urine sample storage conditions appear to have only a minor effect on measured values.

- Schichtarbeit kann sich negative auf die Gesundheit auswirken. Dieses Projekt hatte das Ziel, die Auswirkungen von Schichtarbeit unter Berücksichtigung des individuellen Chronotyp auf das metabolische Profil darzustellen. Basierend auf dem Metabolischen Profil von 100 Krankenschwestern, waren Individuen mit einem frühen Chronotyp am stärksten von Nachtarbeit betroffen. Die Lagerbedingen der Urinproben hatten keinen größeren Einfluss auf die gemessenen Konzentrationen.
