Abstract:
Die experimentelle Untersuchung der Leistungsfähigkeit von Spinning-Disc-Reaktoren (SDR) zur Prozessintensivierung ist Kern dieser Arbeit. Ausgehend von Mikrovermischungsversuchen werden gezielt Fällungs- und Polymerisationsreaktionen im SDR studiert. Der Rotor-Stator-Spinning-Disc-Reaktor wird als Weiterentwicklung eingeführt und unter anderem auf seine Stofftransporteigenschaften untersucht. Vermischungs- und Verweilzeitstudien erlauben Rückschlüsse auf die Hydrodynamik der Spaltströmung.
Translated abstract:
The potential of Spinning Disc Reactors (SDR) for Process Intensification is the central topic of this work. Based on the knowledge about micromixing, precipitations and polymerizations are examined in the SDR. As further development, the Rotor-Stator Spinning Disc Reactor is introduced and, inter alia, characterized with regard to its mass transfer properties. Studies of the mixing and the residence time distributions give valuable insight into the complex hydrodynamics in the reactor gap.
