Abstract:
Zur Differenzierung von Zuständen reduzierten Bewusstseins (Disorders of Consciousness (DOC)) unter auditorischer Stimulation wurden zwei nicht-lineare EEG-Parameter (Permutationsentropie (PeEn) und Symbolische Transfer Entropie (STEn)) auf das EEG von 15 Patienten mit entweder Minimally Conscious State (MCS) oder Unresponsive Wakefulness Syndrome (UWS) / Vegetative State (VS) angewendet und mit einem Kollektiv gesunder Probanden verglichen.

To differentiate Disorders of Consciousness (DOC) under auditory stimulation two non-linear measures of EEG-analysis (Permutation Entropy (PeEn) and Symbolic Transfer Entropy (STEn) were applied to the EEG of 15 patients with either Minimally Conscious State (MCS) or Unresponsive Wakefulness Syndrome (UWS) / Vegetative State (VS). The findings were compared to a group of healthy volunteers.
