In this thesis, a scientific approach as well as appropriate computer-based methods are developed to enable the technical design and the methodical evaluation of concepts for electrified vehicles. Conceptual levers on the variation levels of technology, component vehicle architecture and overall vehicle are focused, as well as functional and geometrical interdependences with customer-relevant characteristics and technical concept properties. In the end, implications for the future concept design of battery-driven and fuel-cell-driven vehicles are derived.
