Die Kontrolle des Ladungszustandes von Stickstoff-Fehlstellen-Komplexen (NV) in Diamant ist unerlässlich bei der Realisierung von Quantencomputern und elektrischen- bzw. Magnetfeldsensoren. Diese Arbeit demonstriert neue Methoden zur Kontrolle des Ladungszustandes durch Änderung der Oberflächenterminierung, mit Hilfe von Elektrolytgattern oder einige Nanometer großer seitlicher Gatterstrukturen. Die experimentellen Ergebnisse werden von Simulationen unterstützt, die auf einem theoretischen Modell basieren, bei dem NV Umladungslevels in die Energiebandstruktur von Diamant integriert werden.
