This dissertation explores educational dance as a field of embodied reflective practice in continuing education for physical education teachers. Grounded in embodied and aesthetic education, it investigates the relationship between embodied experience and reflection using qualitative data from a professional development course. The findings suggest that fostering embodied self-awareness in dance can initiate holistic reflective processes and inform pedagogical approaches within embodied education.
