Caused by the increased requirements on the efficiency, reliability and safety of launchers and a demand for new and enhanced space propulsion systems, experimental investigations of important aspects of new propulsion concepts are conducted at the Technische Universität München for several years now. A model of the combustion chamber and its feed system supports the planning of upcoming experiments and the analysis and evaluation of the obtained measurement data. Based on the results of an extensive test campaign a model is derived, that reproduces the transient processes of the feed system of the test facility and the response of the chamber. Finally model and experiment are compared and critically assessed.
