Die vorliegende Arbeit befasst sich mit der Entwicklung eines Casing Treatment (CT) Modells für den numerischen Auslegungsprozess von Axialverdichtern. Die Berechnung der betrachteten CTs erfordert an sich aufgrund der umfangsasymmetrischen Bauformen zeitaufwendige instationäre Rechenverfahren, was die Berücksichtigung eines CTs im frühen CFD-Auslegungsprozess bislang verhindert hat. Mit Hilfe des entwickelten CT-Modells wird die Möglichkeit geschaffen, die Auswirkung eines CTs auf die Verdichterströmung in einer stationären CFD-Simulation zu erfassen und diese somit bereits in die Auslegung eines optimalen Schaufeldesigns mit einfließen zu lassen. Das Modell ist an mehreren Verdichterbeispielen erfolgreich validiert worden, wobei in den Validierungsrechnungen eine bis zu zehnfache Beschleunigung der numerischen Simulationen gegenüber einer entsprechenden instationären Vergleichsrechnung mit der realen CT-Geometrie erzielt worden ist.
