Abstract:
Real-time substructure testing is an approach for assessing components of complex systems under realistic boundary conditions. This work shows the use of adaptive feedforward for the accurate and stable control of such tests. Methods based on least-mean-squares filters and based on recursive-least-squares filters are addressed. Moreover, the dissertation discusses methods for the practical implementation of the tests regarding measurement, simulation, and control.
