Experiments to evaluate the suitability of biomass as single fuel and co-combusted with coal were carried out in a 300 kW(th) cyclone slag tap furnace test facility. A description of the test facility and the experimental settings is presented. Experiments were carried out with straw using different loading and fuel shares.
