- In dieser Arbeit wurde der Stellenwert der kontrastmittelverstärkten Sonographie bezüglich der Detektion vulnerabler Plaques im Vergleich zur konventionellen Sonographie sowie dem MRT-Plaqueimaging untersucht. Hierzu wurden 42 Patienten mit akutem, kryptogenem, ipsilateralem Schlaganfall zu Karotisplaques mit einem lokalen Stenosegrad <70% nach NASCET (Studiengruppe) mit Patienten mit anderer Schlaganfallgenese und/oder kontralateral zur Plaque gelegenem Infarkt (Kontrollgruppe) verglichen.

- In this research, the importance of contrast-enhanced sonography with regard to the detection of vulnerable plaques compared to conventional sonography and MRI plaque imaging was examined. For this purpose, 42 patients with acute, cryptogenic stroke and ipsilateral carotid plaques with a local degree of stenosis <70% according to NASCET (study group) were compared with patients with other stroke genesis and / or infarction contralateral to the plaque (control group).
