- Abstract:
- Das maligne Melanom ist für mehr als 90% aller Sterbefälle an Hauttumoren verantwortlich. Die häufigsten Melanome im Kopf-Hals-Bereich sind die kutanen Melanome. Bei etwa 8% der malignen Melanome im Kopf-Hals-Bereich handelt es sich um Schleimhautmelanome. Schleimhautmelanome repräsentieren eine hoch aggressive Unterform der Melanome. Ziel dieser Untersuchung ist es, anhand einer Kohorte von Melanomen Parameter zu Risikofaktoren, Metastasierungsverhalten und Prognose zu erarbeiten.

- Malignant melanoma is responsible for more than 90% of all deaths from skin tumours. The most common melanomas in the head and neck region are cutaneous melanomas. About 8% of malignant melanomas in the head and neck region are mucosal melanomas. Mucosal melanomas represent a highly aggressive subtype of melanomas. The aim of this study is to develop parameters on risk factors, metastatic behaviour and prognosis based on a cohort of melanomas.
