- Abstract:
- Breast cancer is still the most common cancer among women. Although the overall treatment is well established, some cases remain with poor prognosis. A hallmark of successful treatment is the tumoral infiltration of tumor-suppressive lymphocytes, a progress that is strongly supported by chemokines such as CXCL9 and CX3CL1. In this thesis, the functional impact on both chemokines on breast cancer is shown in vitro and in vivo as well as the potential benefit for further patient treatment.

- Für Frauen bleib Brustkrebs einer der häufigsten Krebsarten. Obwohl die Therapie gut etabliert ist, gibt es immer noch Fälle mit schlechter Prognose. Ein Meilenstein der erfolgreichen Behandlung ist der Einstrom von Lymphozyten in den Tumor. Dieser Prozess wird unter anderem durch Chemokine, wie CXCL9 und CX3CL1, unterstützt. In dieser Arbeit wird der funktionelle Einfluss dieser beiden Chemokine in vitro und in vivo gezeigt. Zudem werden potentielle Vorteile für zukünftige Therapien aufgezeigt.
