- Power is a central concept for understanding organizational behavior. The experimental study of power in organizations promises valuable insights, but is currently also at the heart of a lively debate about experimental methods. In two experimental studies and a conceptual study the present dissertation analyzes the influence of power on time planning, on information processing, and on performance management. The results are discussed both in terms of content and in terms of methods.

- Macht ist ein zentrales Konzept für das Verständnis von Verhalten in Organisationen. Experimente über Macht in Organisationen versprechen wertvolle Erkenntnisse, finden sich aber aktuell im Zentrum einer lebhaften Diskussion über experimentelle Methoden. In zwei Experimenten und einer konzeptuellen Arbeit wird der Einfluss von Macht auf Zeitplanung, Informationsverarbeitung und Leistungsmessung untersucht. Die Ergebnisse werden im Hinblick auf die Inhalte und Methodik diskutiert.
