Abstract:: Im Rahmen des Promotionsprojektes wird eine Grundlage zur Art des Einsatzes von Social Media in der Sport-PR von professionellen Sportvereinen gegeben. Dafür wird eine Inhaltsanalyse der Plattformen Facebook und Twitter durchgeführt. An 14 Untersuchungstagen in der Saison 2015/16 werden die Posts und Tweets von insgesamt 16 Vereinen aus den Sportarten Basketball, Eishockey, Fußball und Handball untersucht. In Summe umfasst die Analyse 3.412 Beiträge (717 Posts und 2.695 Tweets).
Translated abstract:: This doctoral thesis project describes how professional sport clubs use social media in sports PR. Therefore the project consists in a content analysis of two platforms, Facebook and Twitter. On 14 investigation days during the season 2015/2016 all posts and tweets of an overall of 16 sport clubs are analysed, sports like basketball, icehockey, soccer and handball form part of the investigation. In total the analysis contains 3.412 online contributions (717 posts and 2.695 tweets).
