Abstract:: Within an increasingly globalized world, innovation is of immense importance. Online ideation platforms can help connect the relevant stakeholders. However, user engagement is low. This dissertation portrays the personalities and task motivations of users and gives suggestions on how to motivate different tasks. The findings underline the importance of enticing collaboration and the relevance of addressing differences among users.
Translated abstract:: In einer zunehmend globalisierten Welt erlangt Innovation zunehmend an Bedeutung. Online Ideenplattformen können dabei helfen, die relevanten Akteure zu verbinden. Jedoch ist das Nutzer-Engagement gering. Diese Dissertation zeigt die Persönlichkeit und Unterschiede in Aufgabenmotivation von Nutzern auf und gibt Vorschläge verschiedene Aufgaben zu inzentivieren. Die Ergebnisse untermauern die Bedeutung Zusammenarbeit zu motivieren und Nutzerunterschiede zu adressieren.
