- Diese Promotion erforscht die Potenziale verkörperter Wissensformen und die Dialogbeziehung des menschlichen Körpers und der gebauten Lebenswelt. Es werden Dimensionen, Modi, Perspektiven und Relationen der Körper herausgestellt und deren Potenziale für die Architekturdisziplin – insbesondere den Architekturentwurf – aufgezeigt. Im Zentrum steht die Erforschung impliziter verkörperter Wissensstände. Die Wissenskonstitution des Körpers und sein In-Dialog-Treten mit der Architektur werden befragt.

- This doctoral thesis explores the potentials of embodied forms of knowledge and the dialogical relationships of the human body and the built environment. Dimensions, modes, perspectives and relations of the body are elaborated and their potentials for the architectural discipline – especially architectural design – are revealed. The focus is on the exploration of tacit embodied knowledge. The body's constitution of knowledge and its entering into dialogue with architecture are investigated.
