- Intraoperative Transitzeit-Flussmessungen wurden bei Patienten mit freiem Lappentransfer im Kopf- und Halsbereich nach einem strukturierten Protokoll durchgeführt. Die Durchblutung des freien mikrovaskulären Transplantats hängt sowohl vom Empfängergefäß und Empfängerbett als auch von der spezifischen Lappenanatomie und Lappenphysiologie ab. Die beobachtete Steigerung der arteriellen Perfusion nach Lappentransfer fördert die Wundheilung und erhöht die Erfolgsrate mikrovaskulärer Transplantate.

- Intraoperative transit-time flow measurements in accordance with a structured protocol were performed on patients receiving free flap transfer in the head and neck area. The perfusion of a free microvascular transplant depends on both the recipient vessel and the recipient bed, as well as the specific flap anatomy and flap physiology. Observed increasing arterial perfusion after flap transfer promotes wound healing and increases the success rate of microvascular transplants.
