Abstract:
Die Therapie der Wahl einer distalen Bicepssehnenruptur ist die operative Versorgung mittels anatomischer Rekonstruktion des nativen Sehnen Footprint. Ziel der vorliegenden in-vitro Studie war es eine neuartige Technik (intramedulläre Bicepsbutton) mit einem etablierten Verfahren (Fadenanker) zur Rekonstruktion der distalen Bizepssehne unter biomechanischen Gesichtspunkten zu vergleichen.

The treatment of choice for a distal biceps tendon rupture is surgical repair using anatomical reconstruction of the native tendon footprint. The aim of the present in-vitro study was to compare a new technique (intramedullary biceps button) with an established procedure (suture anchor) for the reconstruction of the distal biceps tendon from a biomechanical point of view.
