- Abstract:
- This study focused on investigating growth, maturation, and the hierarchical architecture of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPC) during aging, in clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential (CHIP), and in myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). Our results show deviating hierarchical structures and increasing kinetic heterogeneity in some CHIP and most of the MDS samples, proving reorganization of the HSPC compartment in the premalignant CHIP state.

- In dieser Studie wurden das Wachstum, die Reifung und die hierarchische Architektur hämatopoetischer Stamm- und Vorläuferzellen (HSPC) während des Alterns, bei klonaler Hämatopoese von unbestimmtem Potenzial (CHIP) und beim myelodysplastischen Syndrom (MDS) untersucht. Unsere Ergebnisse zeigen abweichende hierarchische Strukturen und zunehmende kinetische Heterogenität in einigen CHIP- und den meisten MDS-Proben, was eine Reorganisation des HSPC-Kompartiments im prämalignen CHIP-Stadium belegt.
