- Rab31 ist am intrazellulären Transport beteiligt. Eine erhöhte rab31 mRNA Expression im Tumor ist mit einer schlechten Prognose von Brustkrebspatientinnen assoziiert. In dieser Arbeit wurden polyklonale Antikörper (pAbs) gegen rekombinantes humanes rab31 hergestellt, affinitätsgereinigt und umfangreich getestet. Diese hoch-affinen, spezifischen pAbs sind exzellente Tools zur Untersuchung der rab31 Expression auf Proteinebene und unterstützen die Aufklärung der tumorbiologischen Rolle von rab31.
- Translated abstract:
- Rab31 is involved in the intracellular transport. Increased rab31 mRNA expression in tumor tissue is associated with poor prognosis of breast cancer patients. In this thesis, polyclonal antibodies (pAbs) directed to recombinant human rab31 were generated, affinity-purified and extensively tested. These high-affinity, specific pAbs are excellent tools to investigate rab31 expression on the protein level and support further investigation of the tumor-biological role of rab31.
