- Abstract:
- Die ALDH1 kann aufgrund ihrer konstitutiven Enzymexpression als potenzieller diagnostischer Marker für Schwann-Zellen bzw. Schwannzell-Tumore verwendet werden. Trotz Differenzen in den Rattenschwannomzelllinien ( RT4D6P2T und RN22) zeigte sich ein Einfluss der ALDH1 auf Proliferationsprozesse sowie ein positiver Einfluss des PI3K- bzw. MAPK- Signalweges auf die ALDH1- Expression. Inwiefern dies auf andere Tumornentitäten übertragbar ist, sollte im Verlauf geprüft werden.

- ALDH1 can be used as a potential diagnostic marker for Schwann cells or Schwann cell tumors due to its constitutive enzyme expression. Despite differences in the rat Schwannoma cell lines ( RT4D6P2T and RN22), ALDH1 was shown to influence proliferation processes as well as a positive influence of the PI3K- or MAPK- signaling pathway on ALDH1 expression. The extent to which this can be transferred to other tumor entities should be examined in the course.
