- Abstract:
- Obwohl es bereits Studien gibt, die die Heilungsrate von Rotatorenmanschettenrupturen untersucht haben, ist weiterhin noch nicht gänzlich geklärt, ob die Ätiologie Einfluss auf die Heilungsrate in einer jungen Patientenkohorte hat. Die Hypothese, dass traumatische im Vergleich zu atraumatischen Rupturen zu besseren postoperativen Patientenberichten und höheren radiologischen Heilungsraten führen würde, konnte sich in dieser Arbeit nicht bestätigen.

- Although there are existing studies that have investigated the healing rate of rotator cuff tears, it remains to be fully elucidated whether etiology has an impact on healing rates in a young patient cohort. The hypothesis that traumatic compared with atraumatic ruptures would result in better postoperative patient reports and higher radiographic healing rates could not be confirmed in this study.
