- Zur Verbesserung der Trennschärfte manometrischer Messdaten zwischen Stuhlinkontinenz und Kontinenz entwickelte S. Labermeyer TUM einen Summenscore MSS. Nun erfolgt die Testung auf Validität des MSS an einer unabhängigen Kohorte durch statistische Auswertungen. Wir konnten belegen, dass der MSS (Sensitivität 81%, Spezifität 75%) bessere Vorhersageparameter aufweist als die Einzel(druck)parameter und insgesamt eine gut Trennschäfte zur Differenzierung zwischen Kontinenz und Inkontinenz darstellt.

- To improve the discriminatory power of manometric measurement data between faecal incontinence and continence, S. Labermeyer developed a sum score MSS. Now the validity of the MSS is being tested on an independent cohort by means of statistical evaluations. We were able to prove that the MSS (sensitivity 81%, specificity 75%) has better predictive parameters than the individual parameters and overall represents a good discriminatory power for differentiating between continence and incontinence.
