- Translated abstract:
- Although autoimmune pancreatitis (AIP) is a non-surgical disease, it frequently leads to unnecessary operations caused by misdiagnosis or by final exclusion of malignancies. Therefore, to avoid unnecessary surgery, this study aimed to find clinical relevant differences between patients with resected AIP and conservatively treated AIP, patients with pancreatic cancer masked by chronic pancreatitis and low stage T1/T2-pancreatic cancer.
