The potential of biomarkers regarding prediction of therapy response and prognosis of survival was investigated in a cohort of 266 patients with non-small cell lung cancer receiving chemotherapy. Tumor markers CYFRA 21-1, CEA, SCCA, NSE, ProGRP, CA 15-3, CA 125 and HE4 as well as self-developed assays for programmed cell death markers PD-1, PD-L1 and PD-L2 were analyzed in serial blood samples. CYFRA 21-1, CA 15-3 and CA 125 revealed predictive and prognostic potential while the programmed cell death markers did not.     «

In 266 Patienten mit Nicht-kleinzelligem Lungenkarzinom unter Chemotherapie wurden Biomarker hinsichtlich ihres Potentials zur Prädiktion von Therapieansprechen und Prognose untersucht. Quantifiziert wurden die Tumormarker CYFRA 21-1, CEA, SCCA, NSE, ProGRP, CA 15-3, CA 125 und HE4 sowie die löslichen programmierten Zelltodmarker PD-1, PD-L1 und PD-L2 mit eigenentwickelten Tests in seriellen Proben.
