- Abstract:
- Bei der Behandlung eines fortgeschrittenen Ovarialkarzinoms nimmt die Chemotherapie (CTX) einen hohen Stellenwert ein. CTX-Modifikationen wie frühzeitiger Abbruch, Zyklusverschiebungen, Dosisreduktionen oder die Verabreichung in gesplitteter Form können negative Auswirkungen auf die Prognose haben. Das Ziel dieser Studie war, Prädiktoren für CTX-Modifikationen zu identifizieren und den Einfluss solcher Modifikationen auf das Gesamtüberleben und das progressionsfreie Überleben zu untersuchen.

- Chemotherapy (CTX) is an important part of the treatment strategy of stage II-IV ovarian cancer. CTX modifications, such as delay, dose reduction or premature termination might have a negative impact on overall survival and progression free survival. The goal of this study was to determine the incidence and predictors of CTX modifications and their influence on survival.
