Abstract:
In the present study, we investigated the expression of CXCR4-CXCL12 axis related proteins in OPSCC primary tumors regarding HPV status. Subsequent experiments in vitro revealed a specific expression of CXCR4-CXCL12 axis in HPV positive HNSCC cell lines and the key roles of the CXCR4-CXCL12 axis in HNSCC cell proliferation, migration and chemotaxis.
