- Ziel der Arbeit war die Untersuchung eines eventuellen Bestehens synergistischer Effekte zwischen ionisierender Strahlung durch das Radiopharmakon [18F]FDG und einem statischen Magnetfeld bei PET-MRT-Untersuchungen. Bei der klinisch-experimentellen Studie durchliefen die Probanden PET-CT-, PET-MRT- oder MRT-Untersuchungen. Mithilfe des gamma-H2AX-Assay wurden Doppelstrangbrüche zur Erhebung des genotoxischen Potentials ermittelt. Es konnten keine synergistischen Effekte festgestellt werden.

- The aim of this study was to investigate possible synergistic effects between ionizing radiation caused by the radiolabeled agent [18F]FDG and a static magnetic field throughout a PET-MRI examination. The probands of this clinical study went through either a PET-CT, PET-MRI, or an MRI examination. With the aid of the gamma-H2AX-Assay double strand breaks were measured to determine the genotoxic potential. No synergistic effects could be found.
