- Das Interstage-Monitoring von Patienten mit einem angeborenen Herzfehler, die im Rahmen einer Fontan-Palliation eine Shuntimplantation erhalten, ist eine notwendige und erfolgreiche Maßnahme, um die Mortalität im Rahmen der Behandlung zu senken. Zusätzlich zur Überwachung der Sauerstoffsättigung und des Gewichtes zeigt sich die Kontrolle des Laborparameters NT-proBNP für die prognostische Einschätzung des Risikos als vielversprechend.
- Translated abstract:
- The Interstage-Monitoring of patients with congenital cardiac defects who receive in view of the Fontan palliation a shunt implantation is a necessary and successful method to reduce the mortality as part of the treatment. Additional to the surveillance of the oxygen saturation and the body weight the control of the laboratory value of NT-proBNP seems to be a promising tool for the assessment of the mortality risk.
