Abstract:
Translated abstract:
Ovarian cancer tissues of 49 patients were classified in BRCA1-like or non-BRCA1-like by the MLPA BRCA1ness test and mRNA levels of seven genes (ATM, BRIP1, BRCA1, BRCA2, CHEK2, RAD51C, RAD51D) involved in homologous recombination (HR) were determined. Low mRNA levels of BRIP1, BRCA1 and RAD51C were associated with favorable overall survival. Cox-regression showed a prognostic significance of BRIP1 mRNA expression and a prognostic significance of the estimated tumor profile by MLPA.
