- Die vorliegende Studie untersuchte das Darmmikrobiom HIV-positiver Patienten im Zeitverlauf vor und nach dem Beginn einer antiretroviralen Therapie (ART). Es wurde beobachtet, dass das ART-Regime die Häufigkeit der Ruminococcaceae beeinflusste. Den stärksten Effekt auf das Mikrobiom hatten Antibiotika. Die Ergebnisse legen nahe, dass das Mikrobiom bei HIV-positiven Patienten durch Antibiotika langfristig beeinflusst wird und der Effekt maßgeblich von den eingesetzten antibiotischen Substanzen ab... »
- Translated abstract:
- This thesis investigates the gut microbiome of HIV-positive patients before and after the beginning of antiretroviral therapy (ART). We observed a correlation between the type of ART and the frequency of Ruminococcaceae. The strongest effect on the microbiome was caused by antibiotics. The results indicate a long-term effect of antibiotics on the gut microbiome which depend on the type of the antibiotic substance used.
