- Die Fragestellung der retrospektiven Arbeit war, ob Patienten mit Hüftarthrose, die sich beidseitig zu zwei unterschiedlichen Zeitpunkten eine Hüft-TEP einbauen ließen einen geringeren Arthrosegrad auf der zweiten Seite aufweisen. Gezeigt werden konnte, dass Patienten mit beidseitiger Coxarthrose, die zweite Seite in einem geringer fortgeschrittenem Grad der Arthrose nach dem Score von Kellgren und Lawrence einbauen ließen.

- The aim of the retrospective study was to compare the level of osteoarthritis (OA) in patients receiving consecutive total hip arthroplasty (THA) at both hip joints and to identify if patients underwent the second surgery in a minor state of OA compared to the first surgery. We could demonstrate that patients suffering from bilateral OA that underwent consecutive THA at two different dates got the second surgery done in a less advanced grade of the OA and Kellgren and Lawrence score.
