Description:
Cloud datacenter to user connectivity dataset collected over Speedchecker platform. The dataset accompanies research article “Cloudy with a Chance of Short RTTs: Analyzing Cloud Connectivity in the Internet” accepted at ACM Internet Measurements Conference (IMC) 2021
Method of data assessment:
The dataset includes PING and Traceroute measurements from 115,000+ Speedchecker probes in 140+ countries to 195 datacenters of ten major cloud providers, i.e. Google, Amazon EC2, Microsoft, Digital Ocean, Linode, Alibaba and Vultr, Amazon Lightsail, Oracle and IBM. The data collection lasted from November 2020 to May 2021.
