Die Dissertation untersucht den möglichen Einsatz von Targeted Therapeutics (TT) in der Therapie von pädiatrischen Patienten mit soliden Tumoren. Anhand einer Literaturrecherche wurden 30 potentiell in der Pädiatrie einsetzbare TT identifiziert. Eine modifizierte Delphi-Umfrage unter Experten der Gesellschaft für pädiatrische Onkologie und Hämatologie erbrachte Erfahrungswerte bezüglich Wirksamkeit und Verträglichkeit für Imatinib, Bevacizumab, Rapamycin sowie fünf weitere TT, welche in kontrollierten klinischen Studien weiter überprüft werden müssen.     «

This dissertation evaluates the possibility of using targeted therapeutics (TT) in treatment of pediatric patients with solid tumors. A review of the literature identified 30 TT that may be considered for use in pediatric oncology. A modified Delphi process among experts of the Society for Pediatric Oncology and Hematology showed experience regarding potential efficacy and adverse effects of Imatinib, Bevacizumab and Rapamycin as well as fife other TT, which need to be examined in controlled clinical trials.     «
