- Die vorliegende Arbeit befasst sich mit einer retrospektiven, longitudinalen Darstellung des Kollektives der am bayerischen Disease-Management-Programm (DMP) für Diabetes mellitus Typ 2 teilnehmenden Patienten und mit der HbA1c-Variabilität einer Kohorte von DMP-Patienten, welche erstmalig mit Insulin therapiert wurden. - Translated abstract:
- The present work deals with a retrospective, longitudinal description of the patient collective participating in the Bavarian disease-management-program (DMP) for type 2 diabetes mellitus as well as with HbA1c-variability in a cohort of DMP-patients newly started on insulin therapy. This investigation evaluates the association of the HbA1c-variability with non-fatal myocardial infarction and stroke, episodes of severe hypoglycaemia and emergency admissions.
