- Abstract:
- Zielsetzung der Arbeit war es, ein flexibles Werkzeugsystem für das wirtschaftliche Umformen und Spannen von Kunststoffplatten zu entwickeln. Dazu wurde ein methodisches Vorgehen für die Produktentwicklung bereitgestellt, mit dem bereits in der frühen Phase der Produktentwicklung eine wirtschaftliche Bewertung der Konzepte erfolgen kann. Die Konzepte wurden prototypisch umgesetzt, in Versuchen die Einsatzgrenzen für flexible Werkzeuge bestimmt und die Wirtschaftlichkeit betrachtet.

- The objective target of this thesis is to describe the development of reconfigurable tools for forming and clamping plastic shields in a cheaper way. A methodology for product development is provided, in order to allow an economic evaluation of concepts already in the early stage of product development. Another sub-goal is to create prototypical reconfigurable tooling systems to do tests for practical use and to determine operating limits. At least, a feasibility study completes the work.
