Mehr als ein Viertel der etwa 8.000 in Deutschland betriebenen Biogasanlagen befindet sich in Bayern, was vielerorts zu Akzeptanzproblemen führte. Eine Befragung von Anwohnern bestehender und hypothetischer Biogasanlagen in Bayern ergab starke Diskrepanzen zwischen realen Wahrnehmungen und unrealistischen Erwartungen. Als akzeptanzbeeinflussend zeigten sich insbesondere die Wahrnehmung von Emissionen und deren Folgen, die Beurteilung der Themen „Tank-Teller-Diskussion“ und „Monokultur“, sowie die Einstellung zu Klimawandel und zukünftiger Energieversorgung.     «

More than a quarter of approximately 8.000 operating biogas plants in Germany is located in Bavaria. Due to this, acceptance problems emerged in many places. A survey was conducted with residents of existing and hypothetical biogas plants. Huge discrepancies between real perceptions and unrealistic expectations were discovered. Detected factors particularly impacting acceptance were the perception of emissions and their consequences, the evaluation of the issues “food or fuel” and “monocultures”, as well as the attitude towards climate change and future energy supply.     «
