- Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, die Komplikationen endoskopischer Untersuchungen (Koloskopie) unter Propofolsedierung in den Jahren 2004 und 2005 im Krankenhaus der Barmherzigen Brüder München, zu beurteilen. Der Vergleich unserer Ergebnisse erfolgte mit Daten aus der veröffentlichten Literatur. Wir können zeigen, dass die alleinige Propofolsedierung eine sichere und komplikationsarme Methode für die Vorsorgekoloskopie und endoluminale endoskopische Therapiemaßnahmen im Kolorektum darstellt. - Translated abstract:
- The aim of this study is to evaluate the complications of endoscopic examinations (colonoscopy) under sedation with propofol during the years 2004 and 2005 in the hospital “Barmherzige Brüder München”. The comparison of our results was performed with data from published literature. We can show that sedation with only propofol is a safe method for screening colonoscopy and for endoluminal endoscopic treatment in the colorectum. It is essential to observe the newest guidelines.
