- Anhand von 374 radikal prostatektomierten Patienten untersuchten wir den Einfluss von Patientenalter und Komorbiditäten auf die gesundheitsbezogene Lebensqulität (gLQ) im ersten postoperativen Jahr. Die emotionale Funktion stieg postoperativ, alle anderen Funktionen waren nach 12 Monaten auf Ausgangsniveau. Patienten > 70 Jahre zeigten höhere Scores der sozialen und emotionalen Funktion als Patienten ≤ 60 Jahre, Komorbiditäten hatten keinen klinisch signifikanten Einfluss auf die gLQ.

- We evaluated 374 patients with prostate cancer in the first year after radical prostatectomy for the influence of patient´s age and comorbidities on their health-related quality of life (HRQOL). One year after operation overall HRQOL showed an increase in emotional function, all other functions were comparable to preoperative scores. Patiens > 70 years had higher scores in emotional and social function than patients ≤ 60 years, comorbidities had no clinically significant influence on the HRQOL.
