- Das Neuropeptid Oxytocin fördert bindungsrelevantes Verhalten und unterstützt den Aufbau und Erhalt zwischenmenschlicher Bindungen. Das Bindungsverhalten von Erwachsenen kann durch die mentale Bindungsrepräsentation erfasst werden. Diese Arbeit zeigt mittels einer randomisierten, doppelblinden Crossover-Studie, dass eine einmalige intranasale Applikation von Oxytocin bei gesunden, jungen Männern die Bindungsbereitschaft erhöhen kann.
- Translated abstract:
- The neuropeptide oxytocin enhances attachment-related behavior and facilitates the development of human social relationships. The attachment behavior of adults can be investigated by measuring the mental attachment representation. Using a randomized, double-blind study in cross-over design, this thesis shows, that the intranasal application of a single dose of oxytocin enhances the experience of attachment security.
